I wanted to write this in story form, but for some reason it just wouldn't let me. And since I can't really draw, it'd take me at least a year to learn how to convey a modicum of what I wanted to, and I want to get this posted now. So here's a comic script. Even BETTER, it's based on something incredibly true that I witnessed in college. Oh yeah, and pianolessdevil illustrated a scene!

Warnings: I hate doing warnings, but the nature of this fic might require a couple. Because of the nature of the crimes Pendergast & D'Agosta are investigating, there are a few instances of homophobia described.

Summary: A serial killer is targeting gay men, Agent Pendergast and Lieutenant D'Agosta are determined to nail the perp, and along the way they make a few discoveries about themselves. It picks up sometime after the conclusion of Reliquary.

Secrets Stolen from Deep Inside, part one

I started to do this over at the Unofficial Forum, but wasn't sure which forum it ought to go in.

Anyways, I'm doing a fic, and a topic has come up for which I am ill-equipped. The set up is: D'Agosta and Smithback (it's way pre-CD, so he's alive and well, and and it's kind of AU anyway) are explaining the plot of Alien to Pendergast who, in this fic at least, had never even heard of the movie. They ask him what's the last movie he saw -- and I don't have a clue what the answer should be. I'm thinking some obscure, foreign language flick, super esoteric, but again -- not really a clue. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Oh, and whatever the title, it can't have a release date any more recent than 1997.
